CAI - Tennessee Handshake Sponsorship

The company who sponsors the handshake pays the Chapter $25 and brings $25 to the event. When the sponsor arrives at the event, we give him a whistle and ask him to pick someone to be the secret handshaker. The handshaker is usually a person from the same company or another member in a noncompeting field. The handshaker is instructed to blow the whistle on the tenth handshake (or whatever number is appropriate given the size of the crowd.)  We hold the handshake before the luncheon, during the networking portion. During the luncheon announcements the sponsor, winner and handshaker all come up front for the presentation of the money. This is a fun sponsorship. It’s a good one for newer members and smaller businesses – people who aren’t quite sure of the benefit of CAI yet, or don’t have big marketing budgets. We have both management companies and business partners as handshake sponsors.” (non-members add 50% to above pricing)
